“It is raining, it is rainingâ€. A young man was cautioning his friends with whom he had come to that shopping mall. “No chance†I said to myself. Just a couple of minutes ago, the sky was absolutely blue—there were streaks of white clouds which never indicated an impending rain.
There are several breathtaking places in Hong Kong, apart from those huge ultra-modern malls. Urbanization normally takes place at the expense of nature but in Hong Kong, the nature is only gently tamed and not destroyed.
Human beings have created wonderful worlds of their own but a beach is a beach and a forest is a forest….man-made lakes and parks are just imitations that could capture your attention only for a while.
Now, I must get back to that guy who yelled, “it is raining, it is rainingâ€. He was right. It was indeed raining. The blue sky I had seen a while ago was an artificial sky! A wonderful imitation indeed!
Whoopsy! In some way Ooty and HK seem similar! 🙂
Rains, like bad times, are indelible and stay with you forever! 🙁
Oh, and the new skin! Kinda cool!
Interesting! Never been to Hong Kong! Thanks for sharing
